      One Month of Action-Learning, Not One Day Workshop

      When you ask HumaNext to deliver training to your employees using Action Learning, they don’t get just a workshop. They get much more.
    • They get to experience higher engagement starting about a month before the workshop, doing hands-on action-learning with tools and tasks we provide them. They apply the tools on real-work assignments and goals, create innovation and improvements, collaborate and compete for breakthrough results, all in the same action-learning experience.
    • We work with your team leaders on this by email and phone for two to three weeks before the workshop.
    • They arrive with their teams at the workshop with tools already mastered and tasks already achieved. They learn the concepts behind the competencies and the best practices that model them. They present to their colleagues the results of their work during the session.
    • They leave the workshop having experienced new ways to collaborate, communicate, innovate, and create results at work.

      Why Action-Learning Offers Significant Advantages over Workshops Alone

      Action-Learning by HumaNext is an innovative learning process that enables employees to start using certain concepts and skills for about a month before attending a workshop. Instead of applying the skills they learn from a workshop after the session, this process engages participants in applying the skills before attending. In this inverted approach to traditional training, the workshop acts as the final learning step that cements the concepts and put them together in a meaningful format. Action learning continues after the workshop as well.

      Action-Learning has significant advantages over workshop only training:

      • Action-Learning is directly related to work challenges: Participants apply the tools and tasks they receive on actual work challenges and goals, not imaginary role-plays as in traditional workshop training. They produce results that can significantly improve operation or create innovation.
      • Action-Learning usually includes assessments / inventories that provide participants with a deeper understanding of their performance preferences, and helps them move forward with better self awareness and increased confidence.
      • Action-Learning Creates Engagement: Before arriving to the session, participants are given assignments and challenges that create employee engagement in both the learning process and their work.
      • Action-Learning Creates Excitement and Competition: Because participants receive information, tools, and tasks that might be different from one team to another, a sense of anticipation, curiosity, and excitement quickly arise. Some teams create a sense of competition to see who will create and present the more significant results.

      Our 3C Action-Learning Process Consists of

      Customize: We assess your needs and design customized tools and tasks for your staff. We work with your team leaders via email and phone to enable them to lead the learning for their staff.

      Collaborate: People collaborate during regular or special meetings to apply the tools they received and generate ides to complete the tasks. This creates higher engagement and excitement as people collaborate and compete.

      Create: People create solutions for change in their environment, behaviors, and culture, and create presentations to deliver to their colleagues in the workshop. This also creates a high level of energy and excitement as people usually become curious about what others are working on and compete to develop better ideas and presentations.

      The workshop becomes the final stage in the exciting learning journey as our facilitator reveals the concepts behind the tools the participants used. Participants then deliver their presentations in a high energy climate of anticipation for both the results of the learning and the produced ideas that will change the way people perform and relate to each other back in the office.
